The title of the thread is "Does Game Informer hate the Wii".  You keep ranting that Mario kart Wii is great and I'm not argueing that at all.  Their views of most Wii games are right in line with the rest of the reviewing community.  Are all critics biased against the Wii?? 

You keep saying, why don't they review good games.  They have, its just that currently there aren't that many games for the Wii that are getting good scores. 

Should Mario Kart have gotten a better review in GI? Mabey, it depends on how you look at it.  But again their review is right in line with everybody else.

ummm, I own a Wii, and I happen to like it a lot.  I'm just defending the view that GI is not biased against the Wii.

You are actually right in that they do not review XBLA, WiiWare and PSN games, although they should since LostWinds and My Life as a King were worthy of reviews.

I think that now all three systems have downloadable games, GI is going to have a seperate review section for them.  As you pointed out earlier, VC games will not be reviewed because they are old games that are unchanged from their original release.

No, I just don't see GI being negitive toward the Wii, thats all.  Of the people that think they do hate the Wii, I've yet to hear a good argument or proof that the hate exists.

GIs scores have little to do with theyre obvious hated of the Wii. But they still have somthing to do with it. Most of the time they review multiplatdform games, there is not even a mention of the Wii version. Not even the fact that its avalible on the Wii. The most recent is probably Madden 09. There is no mention of the Wii version, nor is there a separate Wii review.

Ive said this before, but the treated NMH as all of the Wiis hardcore games.
What i mean by that is the lack of overall coverage of the game (and any wii game, hardore or casual). They had about 1 preview for NMH, and that was about half a page in length. Then they give it its worst review, calling it a GTA rip off and saying that its combat was repetitive and unsatisfying (They were the only once to say something like that, as NMH was praised for its combat controls). Then they go and QUOTE Suda saying that his game sold like crap and the Wii isnt for core gamers. They twist his quote and do not provide his clarification of it in any of the next issues.

More 'proof' would be there Wii sales article (one of the only Wii articles).
There primary point was that Wii games do not sale as well as they could, and the even bring Metacritic into it, saying that the Wii has the crappiest line from all 3 current consoles.One of theyre biggest points was that Brawl didnt even sell to half of all Wii owners. This was before the EU release and after only several weeks on NA shelves.

What they say (or dont say) about the Wii is in hopes of turning theyre readers into Wii haters, but they do it in a fashion that is hard to recognize.
