Oh and also: Make sure you buy the retail arcade collection. You can find them on Ebay for about 10$. You basically get games free!

Oh I forgot about that. I'll definitely get the Arcade collection. Also Namco has all of their XBLA releases coming out at retail too. I hope it's no more than $30-40 so it feels like a deal.

Sonic, the very first one. It really took a while to beat it and it was great fun.

You can't be wrong with Uno.

Streets of Rage 2, another classic.

I'm actually beginning to get back into Sega Genesis collecting, so I won't be buying any Genesis ports. Texas Hold'em is something i'd rather play in real life with friends and gambling. I'm seriously considering Doom and UNO though.

Yeah, you can find alot of arcade games in their retail package/bundles for cheap on ebay.

Here are some:

Popcap collection (4 games)

Arcade model collection (came bundles with xbox360 arcade model, put people sell their discs) (5 games)

xbox360 arcade unplugged (when first came out, was 40$ or 50$, now, 10$ the price of just 1 arcade game) (6 games)

and the Namco collection you mentioned. (IDK)

 

If we had a buyers thread, mentioning these would be nice, since you can get arcade games VERY, VERY cheap this way.

Actually, when the new update comes that should fix your problem, microsoft listened to all of their fans' bitching about it.

I am awaiting it, RRoD has prevented me from buying some arcade games, but since the update will be coming this year, I don't have alot to worry about now.

 

Is that different from the license transfer tool?

You can only transfer your license over once a year from box to box.

Actually sir that changed, you can now just re-download those XBLA games again and play them online and offline.

They are no longer segmented to that one console anymore.

What I'm more concerned about is having to redownload everything again, when I get a newer model. Going through every piece of downloaded content one by one and redownloading them. There is no batch re-download option.

 Maybe try Penny Arcade Adventures or whatever the name was. It is expansive, but most say it is worth it.

Worms HD is always fun. Can you play it online?

SoulCalibur is another good game, if u r into fighting games.
