According to GameTrailers.com, Resistance 2 is the best fps shooter in terms of replay and value. This game is looking good, can't wait. Imsoniac know how to make great games! With Killzone 2 around the corner its good to be a Ps3 owner!

For those saying Gears wasn't nominated because it's a TPS, was it nominated anywhere else by Gametrailers? Because I looked through and I didn't see any "best TPS" category.

gears of war would not fit into a TPS, it would only have to go into a FPS because at the end of the day thats the only moniker it could fit into.

otherwise it could never get nominated for anything.

all of the games on show looked better than gears 2, i hope ps3 eventually gets a game on left for dead hopefully.

• great audio
• long campain
• fully featured multiplayer suite on dedicated servers
• 60 player online team matches
• 8 player online co-op with its own seperate story
• and that 300ft chimera looks awsome.

Sorry buddy but FPS are getting very boring..Suuuure Great graphics and 60 player online crap, the only thing that you mention that "can" be fun is the 8 player co-op...But you have to think Pretty much all Fps are the same just with different stories and the last few years there hasnt been a FPS game that made me say wow that was awesome...

The last game was Timesplitters, it was fun and unique..
