I'm pretty much open to almost all genres as long as the game in question is good. I don't even mind *casual* minigame compilations. I've played everything from side scrolling games to MMOs to Poin-and-Click adventures.

Well, actually...I wouldn't play sports games willingly. I understand their appeal and all, but I'm just not a sports person, and you're not going to get me hyped to play it in a game.

So, what games of specific genres would you be unwilling to play? Strategy RPGS too hard and tedious? Sim Racers too much like the real thing? Fighting games that all seem to be about mashing buttons?

Movie-games

Rogue-likes, most JRPGs and most SRPGs.

I don't think there's any genre that I absolutely would not play.

romantic comedies

Survival Horror.

There is no type of game I dont play, but some I very rarly play at the moment, Such as..

Sport - Played Sensible Soccer recently but nothing else since I played that last a few years back.

FPS - Only one I liked in recent memory is TS2, tried that Crysis and a few others and they dont really interest me to much

Flight Sims - Either seem overly complex or overly easy to shoot anyone else down.

Racing Sims - Love arcade style racing games but the more realistic they try to make it the more I feel they fail.

Fave Genre is harder to say but its out of,

Side Scrolling Platformer - Mario's, Castlevania SotN + later, Viewtiful Joe, Mega Man's, Super G+G

SRPG's/TBS, - Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Disgea

On Rail Shooters - Star Fox, Sin and Punishment (S+P alone mad this one of my fave genre's)

Sports games.

Them childish Wii games
