A fanboy is a person who's invested in a brand and wants to see it succeed due to his financial and nostalgic investement. Thus, he helps play PR for the brand.

Thats the real definition. Not that bad really...

Maybe I'm missing something but if you say:

"I would even take a bullet for Sony. PS3 is my life."

I think you are by definition a fanboy, you are devoted to the console to the point of being willing to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Final Fantasy 13 Versus will be 10 times better then Final Fantasy 13. Metal gear solid 4 will outsell both of them combined however.

Thats the most recent example of fanboy damage control.
