The commentors at Kotaku really nailed it on this one. This is just a flamebait interview.

One guy said (On Kotaku):

"No matter what answer Kaz gave, this review would've been flame-bait. If he mentioned Gears, people would take it as Kaz saying the PS3 can't survive without Gears. It might also piss off Sony's internal developers, as Kaz would be downplaying their importance.

There's literally no answer Kaz would be able to give that wouldn't result in people getting mad. This was the safest answer. "

And think about it. The only reason this question arised is because Sony lost exclusives. But that's they HAD exclusives to lose. WTF from 3rd parties does M$ have exclusively? It'd be pointless if Kaz mentioned a first party game, cause that would never happen, and would be the equivalent of Aaron Greenberg (douche) saying that he wanted Killzone 2.......neither of those situation would ever happen, so why say that you want them?

In the end, this is all just smart PR, and not "Why do only Sony reps make dumb comments?"

I prefer people who can admit the good points about there competition rather than lie and say they want to be shot rather than gain an extra game and extra profit for there platform. Maybe Microsoft aint paying for all these games maybe its just Sony saying they already have to many and they dont want it.

He's gonna sit there and with a straight face and say he wouldn't want The Halo Franchise if it was exclusive to them. whatever *rolling eyes* this company is in so much denial it's really pathetic and disturbing

Why would Epic games come out with an announcement like that?  You make absolutely NO sense.

thats just stupid...i am sorry but no matter what there are games on another macine that will be nice to have, even if its just taking away from teh comp..

If Kaz had agreed to take any 360 exclusive, it would have definitely been spinned to look like the ps3 is about to die!

Of course they'll be nice to have, but you can't have a higher up in your company saying that, now can you? If Sony started preying on 360 games....what would that say about the PS3? (Looks at M$ only moneyhatting PS games)
