traditionally the 10 week holiday periods sales = the entire rest of the year....

that of course will be directly effected by total supply Nintendo puts on the market.

I think the Wii sells 4 million more from now until Mid October (when it starts) and then sells 11-12 million over the 10 week holidays period... yes I think the Wii will average 1.3 million from black Friday until Cmas... so that is like 4 week = 5-6 million then the other 6 will be 4-5 million.

either way, Nintendo sells 25-27 million Wiis this year.

So currently LTD is at ~30m. You add the highly probably 15m more they'll sell until Jan of 2009 and you ~45m LTD. Right where I have always maintained they would be at the start of 2009.

Yeah roughly 15 million is the most likely outcome, it might be a little higher than that depending on how(if) shipments get revised.

by the end of the year:

wii- around 25 million, maybe a little under or a little over.

PS3- 12-15 million

360-7-9 million

25 millions sound right for the Wii, now for the DS I expect 30 millions.

In that case, that one analyst was laughably wrong. Negative sales year was coming waaayyy earlier! Wii=Anti-fad.
