Share your sales predictions for first, second and third week sales of Fatal Frame 4 in Japan.

Here are mine:

Week one: 110k

Week two: 45k

Week three: 20k

Um Idk. There isn't any sales data for th previous games.

I'm afraid you're way too high. I expect less than 100k for the first 3 weeks.

Agreed.  Fatal Frame never was a huge seller and I doubt this one will change that

It's mainly because it's being published by Nintendo in Japan - could coerce a few gamers to buy it for the brandname alone.

How do you know that? There is no data on it here.

Yes, the past ones only did okay, but the last few were on the Xbox weren't they? And with Nintendo publishing it I would only assume it will get decent marketing.

I think it will sell 120k week one in Japan, and go on to sell maybe 250-300k lifetime there. If it does that I think it can go Platinum WW : ) 450k from NA and 300k or so from others.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Have any sales data for past games?

 

I wouldn't get my hopes too high for Fatal Frame IV's sales since the recent shipments numbers for the game weren't that high
