I generally get games for my birthday and Christmas. But now that I am on my own, I have been buying games myself. That's the good thing about having a decent job. I tend to only buy games when I beat the one I am curently playing. So, once I beat RE4, I am going to buy Okami.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

On average I buy one a month, and may get 1-2 for Christmas or my birthday. Many of these are older games that I missed out on, for instance last month I bought and beat Ico for the ps2.

I buy around one game every month, mostly second hand, never ever at full price.

When I was younger, during the SNES era it was a dark age of gaming. If it wasnt for the fact that I knew a guy that did reviews and owned every single release I wouldnt have played many games that generation. A SNES game back then could cost up to around $145 here in Sweden.

Bloody right! I remember some snes games went for £59.99 or even slightly more here in the UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats gotta be near £75 ish taking inflation into account.

25 to 40 games per year.
Depends on multiple factors i.e. money, mood & if it is just an average year(like 1995)or a brilliant year(like 2007)of videogame quality.

Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)

Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U

Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY

I buy them when they're cheap, never full price. If people have very large games collections, chances are they pick up bargains that shops are trying to get rid of and scour eBay.

I buy games when they get cheap. Only buy games on release if there is a good pre-order bonus. I usually get into buying binges and buy a lot of games at one time.

I buy games with my own money and buy pretty much about any game I want which is not many. On average though I only tend to buy a game or two a month if that.
