Sony introduced the next Disc medium, Blu Ray, and the best bundle on the market ( Bluetooth Web Browser Movie playback Music, Photos ) Why should they loose this Gen?

They won the last 6 and got Lazy and proud. They tried to stab thier loyal customers in the back on the 7th generation by offering a $400 operating system with no good drivers thinking their base would buy it blindly cause of brand loyalty. Thank GOD for Apple and Linux for being such great competion to Microsoft and keeping them in check by offering lower prices, more innovation, and better software and forcing Microsoft to lower their price. And yes, I do mean much better software.

I like how jenny mentioned that Sony stabbed their consumers in the back, and your defense for them is "But the third party developers made money!!"
Sweet. As a consumer, I'm much more worried about third party developer profit margins than the value of my purchases.
