I have a huge question about RPGs. Why are they called JRPG, WRPG and SRPG.

JRPG is for japanese, WRPG is for western i guess but what in god's name is SRPG?

RPGs are called Turn-based RPG and Action RPG too, right?
In that case how the hell does a Action RPG differ from a Third person action game like God of War, DMC or NG?

SRPG = Strategy RPG

And is it also true that VAlkyria Chronicles has FPS elements?

There is more emphasis on the RPG elements

You can tell an SRPG from a mile away if you have turn based gameplay and your character's position is a large part of the strategy.  So even though VC let's you aim like an FPS, you have a set amount you cann move each turn and a large number of optional characters to use, so this would be an SRPG.

They are more things like Final Fantasy Tactics, or Advance wars (I think) sometimes where you manouvre your soldiers around the battlefield, with various different classes

RPG elements....such as.....WHAT?

Action Rpgs usually are far less linear, and more open world than an action game like god of war. They also have the usual RPG elements like levels, and stats. They are best comparable to Action-Adventures, and some people even label them as a sub genre of action-adventures. There are many more differences though.

I don't know how to really describe an Srpg, but examples are Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea(spell right?), Fire Emblem, etc.

Action RPGs technically are a sub genre of action adventure games.  In fact, action RPGs are action adventure games with relatively deep RPGs elements in it.
