ps2 now, wii in a couple years when it's less expensive and the library is better.

Will since you have a ps3 cant you just play all your ps2 games on it......

Id say get a Wii you got Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Metroid,Super Paper Mario,No More heroes Okami and like you said RE4.
Better games will come for soon. I just dont get why you would want a PS2 now.

edit: selling my 40gig and getting a bc model isnt a very good idea for me, though it has crossed my mind. i sell the 40gig, used my extra cash plus the money i got from selling it to buy a 60gig or 80gig ps3 with bc but i still get no games. buying a used ps2, would get me the ps2 plus whatever used games it comes with. for example, theres a guy selling his ps2 for around $100US, comes with 2 controllers, and around 30 games. now, thats a whole lota games!

Ps2 has the greatest games made alot more which are better then what the wii offers. It has a huge collection to choose from and the same graphics as the wii with a lower price. Motion Senser is useless if you got a sixaxis you would know this same with that wii controller. I hate the WII. Its just another gamecube with a different control people face it.

I say Wii because you have the possibilities of two great libraries, GC and Wiis, instead of the PS2's that you have already played through.

But if you find a good deal like you just said, then get the PS2 and 30 games.

ahhh....truer words have never been said. last gen, i was such a sony fanboy that i bought an xbox just so i can mock it at forums. i'd go.."well, i also have an xbox and it has no games! while my ps2 has tons and tons of games!" LOL

but seriously, i really only had a handful of game for my xbox compared to my dozens and dozens of ps2 games. (probably 100+ in total)

but alas...sony has crushed my spirt and am no longer a sony fanboy, just a fan no longer a boy, probably a man, but at my hight, i can pass as a boy, though a teenager maybe, but jumpship i shall not, but add to my choices i will, but if its still a sony, then what does it say? hopefully a wii i shall but at $100, ps2 + 30+games sounds so nice, who knows?

Honestly, there's NO reason to worry about the future of the Wii. The situation truly cannot get any worse, so it's only looking up from here(seriously)!

Buy a Wii, catch up on some great Gamecube games you've missed while we wait for the Wii ones, be surprised by the Virtual Console, and get some friends over for Bowling.

So basically, Wii = huge potential for future, PS2 = most if not all potential already tapped

Quantity < Quality

wii may get a lot of  exclusives later, but if the same kind we are getting right now you may save the money on a ps2.

lots of game and not only that, they are quality.
