Not really true. I had PS1 and PS2 as a Sony fan but got a Wii and xbox360 this gen. PS3 just only have MGS4 that I want right now...
@ rock on. Do you only buy the console that's the least popular? Seeing that the PS3 is last in lifetime sales up to this point I'm guessing that you bought TurboGraphix 16, Atari Jaguar, and Sega 32X.

No. I owned all Nintendo consoles before last gen but bought a PS2 but sold it as it wasn't my cup of tea. I then bought an xbox and couldn't have been happier. I bought the Wii due to the controller and because I missed the Nintendo way of making games last gen. I love my xbox but I missed the unique ways Nintendo has of making games.
Very rarely do my tastes fall in line with the leading console.
I've only ever bought market-leading Nintendo consoles: NES, SNES, GB, DS and Wii.
No I buy the console that is made by Nintendo.
