Awesome news.So these games will release 2009. Wii 2009 line up is going to be rpg paradise for the japaneese. Waiting for them to localize these games is going to be quite painful for me.

 They have been working on it since 2007 so that two years of development which about the average a game needs to be made. Screens showed a lot of similarities to odin sphere so it probably be classifed as Action/Rpg or action adventure/rpg since that was odin sphere was classified as.

It's basically a brawler with deep RPG elements or as everyone else calls them, Action RPGs.  From what I have seen so far, this game looks great and I never even played Odin Sphere.  I hope they polish this well though since I heard Odin Sphere has frame rate issues and loading times

Most of it was about framerate issues. When there were several enemies on the screen the FPS would drop to single digits. The GC was a lot more powerful than the PS2, so I can`t see it happening on the Wii.
