I think the arcade versions have generally been based on ps style hardware ^.

Even the original soul calibur, which was later released as a graphically upgraded DC game was orginally released on hardware nearly identically to the PS1, same goes for Soul Edge (PS1 exclusive)...

SC3 was a PS2 exclusive, I think?

But I'm pro 360 and I definately don't see it as a PS franchise, thats just bullshit.

Tekken fair enough, but SC has always been neutral imo.

Not true at all. I've played my PS3 version for countless hours and i've not experienced a single frame rate drop.

Are there huge amounts of people that own both consoles? There are some odd reasons given for why one version will outsell the other. Whatever console a person has, that's the version they buy and considering most people have one or the other, I'd say the 360 will take it based on install base.

Reality is - PS2 owners have very little reason to buy a PS3 if they have to pay more money for a version of the game that provides a familiar joystick design and layout. Only my G25 is worth me paying $120 more for the game on the PS3. That's it.

but yes, the x360 version should sell more than the ps3 version. 5m+ more install base will do that.

At Devil may cry 4 time Xbox owned PS3 pretty much.

But yea it seems this game is most popular at America and America pretty much Xbox.

PS3. Vader, and Global install base [not just US]. And I seem to remember that the GC version of SC2 sold more than the others.... because of link perhaps???

360 will prolly pull it out by a small amount.
But i'm hoping for kratos as a DLC character that is the only way i will buy SC4 outside of a bargain bin.
