i heard that there is some issues with the fps in the PS3 version, i dont know if its true but i think nobody will care about a small drop in frames.

Are you serious? Frame-rate drops are absolutely game-breaking in a fighting game.

lol, why are you sorry? |
because he always wants the ps3 version to come out on top ;)
| Impulsivity said: The worst part was Link was a total disappointment, he just got owned left and right which was weird since he was so good in the SB games. I bought the GC version for him and used him only a handful of times. They'd better give Vader some decent force moves, don't want a repeat. |
lol so true. A good friend had it on his GC and was truely dissapointed. I was very pleased with Spawn on my Xbox. He was one of my favourite characters.
I also played with Heihachi on a PS2, but a character with no weapons in a Soul Calibur game is ridiculous

i still not sure because i heard it from fans.
My guess is the PS3 version will sell more proportional to install base than the 360 version due to Vader exclusivity. (Although I have a 360 and not a PS3, I vastly prefer d-pads for fighting games. I don't believe the d-pad will significantly affect sales, however.)
Because of the higher proportional sales, I believe the PS3 version will sell more worldwide while the 360 version will sell more in North America.

Some one else has already said this but i just have to reiterate that Link needed to be nerfed, if anything. His throw could get ringouts from no where near the edge, and if you knew how to use his range attacks and the jump down stab, you could dominate. Spawn was really good too incidentally--if you knew how to do his flying moves and some of his other ranged attacks you would lay a beatdown to most characters. Heiachi was okay, but yes he didn't really belong there with only "Gauntlets," plus the PS2 version had crappy loading times between matches.
I may have to flip a coin to choose which version I buy. Vader is luring me towards the Dark Side. 360 should've had Obi Wan, Luke, or young (20 year old) Anakin. Yoda is a turn off (like Gon in Tekken 3). At first, I hated the thought of Star Wars guys in Soul Calibur. Now, my decision may be based on which Star Wars character I like the most!
I still think the 360 version takes overall sales, though.
Just like Virtua Fighter 4, Dragon Ball z, Soul Calibur will sell more on the ps3 just becasue of Japan. Fighting games trend to sell more on the ps3. also japanese games released world wide trend to sell more now on the ps3 a la Devil may Cry 4.
