Forums - Gaming - My family is officially part of the 7th generation.

My brother bought an Xbox 360, with Dead Rising, which he had been wanting for months. Sure, this was a long time for us, but look at the benefits. He got the pro system, which not only meant that it had a proper chipset (you know what I mean), it was also after the new price came into effect.

I'm planning on Lost Odessy, since it's by the same team that made Legend of Dragoon.

Awesome--you're in for a great gaming time.

(psst! Buy Gears of War!)

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Yep, thats what I did. Bought a Wii near launch, which was the right move since there won't be a price cut for at least 12 months.
And now... blue dragon, Lost oddesy, eternal Sonata, Viva Pinata, Elder Scrolls Oblivion ect are all really cheap!

I got a 360 recently as well, I have managed to pick up 6 games for £20 or less each! And they are all great ones

You're not a Wii owner?

Didn't you know that? I've stated before that until this point, we didn't have any 7ty gen sytsems, not even a DS. That's why I've reserved my comments to information not required to play a game.

And if you mean all my pro Wii posts, you should see the thread I made cheering the PSP on to 50 million sales (less than 13.5 million to go!), along with the copmments I made on threads about how the two new Resistance games really show off they systems they are on.

I really try to support all the systems. I just find the wii news tends to stir my interest the most. But when it comes to games, all the systems have the chance to get my attention.

Dead Rising was my first 360 game as well. Your brother has impeccable taste!

Almost as bad as me being pro-PS3 posts.  Shame I don't own that system.

Now have a DS, with Rondo of Swords, FF XII Revenant Wings, ordered Dawn of Sorrow and FF III.

I own a Wii and PS3, but I still consider myself A Nintendo fan.

The Wii just goes so well alongside of the HD consoles (for a core gamer), and really stands well by itself for Children, Casuals, and more Mainstream gamers.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
