Forums - Nintendo - Is the DS good for my age ?

The DS is good for every one and I use it way more than my PSP because of RPGs thats out. It just have something for everyone and I tend to see older folks playing their DS in my office so age does not matter. What is important is does it have the type of games you want? If you like Bleach I can recommend you to get Bleach DS 2nd which is an excellent figther.

Just look at the list I just gave. Most of those games weren't out in 2005, so things are could change easily. Same most likely will happen for the wii too. Actually it is already happening. We are seeing more and more support for it each month.

Judging by your sig, you are a Sony fanboy who just puts it down because it's non-Sony :P

Anyways, I think it's for everyone :D

I play it and love it and I'm 20.

@sc94597

what list you speak of ??

^ There is a link in the my first post.

I own a DS and i don't like it, the games are way over priced for what they offer. Plus finding any of the games people mention on this site at stores is next to impossible. The stores carry games for kids and the brain training games, and little to nothing else.

@Omega_Phazon_Pirate.

yea,this SONY fanboy still own his gba and nes........

@NNN2004: I am not really familiar with what's considered "un-childish" in UAE, perhaps Contra 4?

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

@Griffin: That's probably more a location problem than DS problem, unless you are live in a Metropolitan area? Also, most games on that list can be gotten if you are willing to buy 2nd hand, and check often for one reason or another. I got a copy of Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime this way.

The DS has great games that appeal to all ages. But if you're still worried about appearing childish, then I suggest you stay away from the more mature stuff: evidently you aren't ready.

 all my stuff are mature thing ... what i dont have is the childish thing & sometimes i feel the childish thing is far better than the mature ( more freedom ).
