100k spike is good, but i was expecting it to be slightly higher in 120k range this week.
how many consoles do they still have on stock? probably not too big if the vgcharts numbers are right for ww sales and shipped numbers since the difference was rather small (if i remember right only about 600k worldwide). they are now definitely allready producing the 60gb models so i don't think there will be any more shippments of the 20gb skus. So starting with about 600k 360s on stocks worldwide you have to reduce that number by the amount shipped to the rest of the world and then substract the other models so i am nearly sure that there are not much more than 200k of the 20k skus left in the us after this week. which means that in about 2 weks shortages of the 20 gb model will kill the boost allready.

Sony now has al lot more chance to win this "gen". This was one of the last possible pricecuts from the side of Microsoft. So Sony now has a lot more possibilities for pricecuts than Microsoft has -> More chances for higher sales.

Nevertheless this is a good result, now waiting if the sales don't go to fast down.

Nice increase for 360. They cant go much lower with the price after this without casuals thinking its the inferior console. This will only slow the inevitable.

Not really.  Playstation stuff has often been on Amazon's best seller lists with no actual reflection in the worldwide charts.

Amazon seems a bit PS3 biased.

the upcoming rpg's and other games coming in the next few months , along with the price drop should help the xb 360 stay above the ps3 for a few months i say.
