this should be a sweet game!
Looks good. Nice Sky :). I wonder how such a large scale of characters is going to work.
It looks OK, but to think that they have bucket loads of time to work on it, its impressive. I'm guessing the men parachuting down is the way that somebody joins the game. There has to be many rooms because if it'd be just one, then there would be alot of ppl waiting to play. Also, there can't be TOO many cuz then it would never reach 256 players which will kinda defeat the purpose.

I read somewhere that it's going to be called Socom: Zero |
Me too. MAG just seems a codename.
Omgz that's all CGI you crazy people!!!!!11
Anyway, I kind of like the name MAG. It's original, means that it can support tons of players, and it's catchy in the way of "Hey, I'm running dry, toss me a mag."
MAG is cool, what MAG stands for is completely....lack of a better word, retarded. Massive Action Game....eh?? (My first thought when they announced it)
*pulls out a ''The Conduit'' kind of comment*
Ewww, look at the electrical lines, missing some anti-aliasing there. It's not optimized for the console in any way...
... Ahem, on a serious note, if Resistance 2 can pull out 60 players online, I wonder how it will be insane playing with 256 players at the same time!!! I can't wait for further developments about this game, it looks very promising so far.
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I'm sorry but that's a wrong answer sir!

Here is one. 200 players online and it has been in it's 2nd beta since November. I guess I shouldn't expect you to really know anything about the 360's line-up after reading your sig though. So who is the fool now?

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Looking good. Really want to see some gameplay vids when they become available.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
