Look, I would say that Itsamii was wrong to basically tell you to GTHO. You genuinely believe that your comments were relevant and based on a logical interpretation of the article.
The problem is this: you're wrong.
When you said "dude, the first sentence of the article says that" [it is predicting Nintendo to be last in marketshare instead of referring to other measures], you were wrong. This is because, as noted, Forbes is not a gamers' magazine and so they would take a more business-oriented view encompassing not only hardware units sold but also software, revenue, and profit, with particular emphasis on profit. Moreover, the tone of the article clearly implies the prediction that Nintendo may go the way of Sega within that generation: "Few are taking bets, however, on whether Sony or Microsoft will win a one-on-one fight." One-on-one, i.e. Nintendo will be out of the picture.
When you said that This article was written before the aftermath you are talking about, so saying 'how can Nintendo be in last place if they sold more software than the xbox? etc' is unlogical as a comment to words spoken prior to the things you have knowledge about now. Even if they were talking about profit, your comment doesn't make sense... you were wrong.
This is because you are making no sense. Obviously this article does not have the benefit of hindsight; that doesn't mean they can't have made observations of business trends -- incorrect observations -- or predictions -- wrong predictions.
Please take a step back, take a deep breath, and remember that your precious Sony is not being denigrated here. Only Forbes.
