Forums - Nintendo - Sam & Max: Season One for Wii trailer

For those who aren't familiar with the series, it's a hilarious Point and Click adventure series delievered episodically (although on Wii each season will be together).  I loved it on PC, and I hope Wii owners who haven't bought it on PC enjoy it as well.  It will be out this Fall.

I can't wait to finally play this. The world needs more games with good comedy writing.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

"how do we stop a giant Abraham Lincoln"

"ummm.....a giant John Wilkes Booth?"

I've already got them on the PC, but I will probably be shelling out for this as well. What can I say, I'm a mark, I just bought the awesome hard-bound collection of all their comics, despite already having the old collection hiding somewhere in my house.

I like good old adventure

Day 1.

Sam & Max (coming soon), Secret Files: Tunguska (already out), A New Beginning (announced)....

The future looks pretty good for western-style p&c adventures on Wii. I hope - similar to DS with Secret Files, Undercover, Runaway, Syberia - we'll see more ports of current and future European and NA adventures (maybe A Vampyre Story, Jack Keane, Going Downtown, a new Broken Sword...?).

Seems real interesting. Definitely gonna keep an eye on this.

I used to think like that, but recently I've learned to accept that digital versions of games are just as much a part of my collection.
