But seriously Microsoft and their anti-competitive strategies have made the PC a worse place. Billions of users and web developers have suffered because they were unable to create a decent browser that follows basic standards after they destroyed the competition through their OS monopoly.
You know the Microsoft mantra for open standards? Embrace, Extend, Extinguish? Thats not only a joke.

They also deeply annoy me with their licensing, their attempts to lock down MY computer and because I am not able to simply switch to a different OS because they simply have a monopoly and the software I need doesn't work on non-Windows systems.

They have also no ounce of style, provide some of the ugliest interfaces known to mankind (original Fisherprice XP skin, 360 blades interface) and I had to help a couple of people who made the mistake of installing Windows ME back in the time.

MS is not a boy scout company. The only reason I have to live with them is I love the Xbox brand.

I often write $ony and M$. It just is for pointing out they are big international concerns that claim they are the best in anything they do and have the best technology, which was actually either licensed or bought from small specialized companies or even legitimately "stolen" from them and hungry for big earnings.

 ME and Vista. Any other OS has been better then anything else on the Market.

Vista is an abomination.

Letting a console go out the door with a defect rate of over 30% is pretty disgraceful. A complete recall and redesign was in order, but 3 years down the road and all they have done is stick band aids over the problem.
This makes me think that this company has poor morales and has little regard for its customers
