You don't  need a monopoly at all costs for your company to thrive. And abusing power will most probably go against your customers' interest and piss them off, so even a megacorp must control its greed and balance it with customers' desires and a minimum of fair play with partners and competitors. Far too many times MS abused its power in OS market force-feeding users with crap like Win ME, Vista and XP before the first SPs, etc. Now people are distrustful and business with possible partners too is hurt, as, for example, most movie majors distrust MS.

To cut it short: maybe monopoly is good for MS and its shareholders, but it isn't for anybody else, so its perfectly normal that everybody else do its best to thwart MS' attempts at world domination.

Amen to that.

I like how they give a ton of money to charity.

I like how they support cancer cures and other things as such.

What I don't like about M$:

Trying to gain Monopolies

Ripping off other companies, left and right, never bringing anything "new".

Always trying to be the "best" and will do whatever they can with "money" to get what they want.

Xbox was an ugly black box with GREEN. Where's the sex appeal in that? The fatty controller was the worst controller ever made. Controller S came out. I gave Xbox a chance. I then realized I hated Xbox for no reason at all. Best graphics back in the day. So I guess I was just being shallow. I hated it cuz it was fat. -_-

Because you hate the PS3 and these " GAY friendly vacation deal " are running rampant through this sites AD's and it's creeping me out. Im getting the urge to visit that salad tossing thread again

I hate M$ cuz they are slimy lil bastards who snuck their way into the game indusry and while i acknowldege their contributions to gaming usally all they do is throw their money aroung to steal games and wrangle exclusive agreements all o hurt Sony. Its ridiculous they would accomplish so much more if they travelled their own path instead of constantly tying to black the competition. RROD also royally pissed me off!

I think Bill gates is a wonderful man he is a philantrhopists nad has made generaous donations to a hospital where i frequent. However Bil gates is no longer a major part of M$ and even if hew was it wouldn't chaneg how i feel about them plus VISTA SUX ASS.

Yeah, they also use only propietary memory on their photographic cameras and mobile phones so you are forced to buy their expensive propietary memory that has no added benefit over open-standards memory.
