Edit: Read your post and you have a 360. So I would most likely not buy a PS3 just for the exclusives. Still pretty expensive. Although I had the most fun with Uncharted and Ratchet and GT5-P so far. But still if you have access to a 360 and you do not want to watch BluRay discs and use it as a media center the PS3 is a lot of money.

Thank alot guys, I think I will just try and ask around to see if anyone is willing to borrow me a PS3 for a week and buy the game myself for collection.

$450 for MGS4? IMO no. SSBB is barely worth that price... and thats pretty much what I paid for it considering Wii is $250 and $50 game and $100 for 4 new GC controllers... but I had alot of other games I wanted as well. If it is one game, wait 4 years for when PS3 is $200-$250. If the game is that good it will still be worth getting, and by that time PS3 is sure to have at least 10 other exclusives you want.

No console is worth getting for only one game.

A console is never worth it for a single game, not what what the game. That's just my own humble opinion.
