Actually, KotoR II was epic fail, I still have some hope for the KotoR MMO.

ok it wasn't as good as the 1st one, but I think it's still a very good RPG

Actually they said here that Dragon Age: Origins is PC exclusive, but that the franchise would come to consoles in the future.

Let me try to clarify this, though its kinda rough to do.
1) Microsoft owns both Windows and 360, so its both for their consoles.
2) PC games are different then console games. Most people don't have the ability to upgrade they're PCs as much as others, so they rely on games. And a PC is really the universal console, so they don't count it in the console race.
I don't know why really. But these may be reasons.

the sales is not that good on the PC .. see Crysis sales for example

Mass Effect 2 has already been announced to PC, so there is a good chance it will come to PC at the same time as X360. Even if it's is a timed exclusive it won't take as long to be released on PC than the past Bioware games.
Dragon Age: Origins is PC only. The gameplay is not suitable for gamepads, the game was made purely for PC, and the engine doesn't even support X360. The reason there's so many people saying it is coming to consoles is because some 'reporters' twisted the reason of what a Bioware representative said at E3.
Kotor MMO could make alot of people happy. A true, epic fail was the Kotor 1 itself, which had a much worse story, characters and gameplay than Baldur's Gate 2.
hopefully they fix the frame rate and texture issues, those are the only things that took away from that game.
regardless though, it is a great story lets just hope they fix the bugs this time.

The story wasn't bad but it had so many bugs, and they weren't the kind of bugs that littered Mass Effect. No, Mass Effect's bugs at least let you finish the game. The bugs in KotoR II stopped you from progressing so sadly I never got to finish the game.
I forget which world it was on, but I believe it was the mercenary one with the hazard suit. It was the part with the evil wookie and the mercenary chick and after I finished the haz suit section I was supposed to talk to the mercenary chick and I just couldn't. I could find her but she wouldn't say anything because she never got activated. I went back several saves and nothing helped.
That was of course the biggest bug and the one that stopped me from playing because I wasn't going to spend another huge amount of time gettign there just to have potentially happen again but there were also many other small bugs that could stop progress or just cause a lot of gameplay issues.
So yes, KotoR II fails.
| Gazz said: How is something exclusive when it's multi platform? A game on the pc is still a game on another platform that can be played on it in my book. Call it console exclusive or something, but not exclusive as Mass effect is clearly not exclusive in the form off only being available for 360 owners. |
Simple, it's marketing speak for "exclusive to Microsoft". Whether that is 360 or Windows, they don't feel the need to clarify.

I don't give a rats behind about the 360. Doesn't mean I'm going to start saying 360 games don't count and PS360 multiplats are PS3 exclusive. Try a better argument next time. |
I understand the logic but I sort of agree with mrstickball here as well. I tend to think these 2 markets don't overlap quite as much as some people believe. Maybe it's just my ancedotal evidence but I have a pretty big group of PC gaming friends and besides myself I'm the only one that seems interested in console gaming at all. A shame too because the current PC market isn't exactly setting the world on fire.
Plus if they follow the same draconian-DRM scheme as the first Mass Effect they can keep it. I won't invest ANY money to a company that restricts their customers that way no matter how much more "enchanced" they try to tout the version.
