Valve's Doug Lombardi just shot us an email containing the final box art for ... wait, what was it again? Something about "Left" and "Dead." Ah, that's right! It's Left 4 Dead. Thanks, Mangled Hand! What would we have done without you? It's a shame you won't be able to grace the cover of the sequel, though. Perhaps your brother could ... unless he's let all that money he got from the Dead Space cover shoot go to his head thumb.

Personally?  I kinda like it.... I think it should have had a faded image of the survivors huddled together and shooting, overlayed on top of it, though.

Anybody else think that sucks?

I think it's awesome...great style. Awesome enough for a new avatar.

I'm glad they didn't have a plain black background with the 4 survivors plastered on, it'd be kinda boring...that's certainly what it's all about, but this has some style.

I'm just not a fan of the green

I like the cheesy horror film style...that's kinda what they're going for. Acting out your own horror movie.

I think that would be a better boxart. I assumed it would keep the same look on the cover but it changed out of nowhere with the new green one.

Kinda gruesome!

I like the original with the 4 silhouettes of the "heros" and the hordes of zombies in the background.

it seems we have the classic case of what one person likes for certain reasons, another person dislikes for the exact same reasons

I think its kinda cool.
