Take that Microsoft!!!

This guy is a sony fanbot, he cherry picked all the points that support ps3. MGS4 didn't give the ps3 a long term boost, its is already back at normal sale level. I think we can pretty much concluded that most consumer don't give a crap about Blue Ray until the price of BR movies drop to DVD range.

He must be right? Only "fanbots" would ever compliment a PS3
| jenny said: Metal Gear Solid 4 is old now and the only proven IP he mentioned besides that is God of War and Gran Turismo and they are not comming out for a long time . Resistance is about a 2 million seller, nothing massive. Xbox has Gears 2, Fable 2, Halo Wars on the horizon. |
All hitting this fall. Then you have "enhanced ports" like Eternal Sonata and Bioshock, Just because something isn't "proven", doesn't mean that it should be discounted.
oh, and Resistance 2 will sell a lot more then 2 Million.
I also like how GoW3 is too far away, yet you mention Halo Wars. So I guess I can bring up Killzone 2, InFamous and possibly even Heavy Rain.

like?
Fable 2 was a definite miss, but maybe he just doesn't think that highly of ToV, IU and Banjo. There is also Too Human, but again, we'll see if that ends up being a "great" game.
I, and a lot of people here, am looking forward to Tales of Vesperia and IU, but the former doesn't have wide appeal and the latter has questions around the gameplay.

Not to mention that Halo Wars is unproven, just because it has Halo tacked onto it doesn't make it a definite success. Woot, me and Stats doing the tag team. Take that Jenny!!

I'm a big 360 fanboy on these forums and I completly agree with that comment... If I had to buy a console today, I really can't say that I would buy a 360. $50 more gets me a Blu Ray player and a decent games library? Come on thats a good deal. The PS3 biggest problem has always been VALUE. With price cuts rolling, and library growing, the PS3 looks more and more attractive to new consumers...
So here's one of my letters to MS (I think its my third or fourth on vgchartz)
Dear MS.
I would like you to take these two facts into consideration
- Your console is only $50 cheaper then the competitors, but it offers more storage and a Blu Ray player
- Your competitor's BRAND NAME alone has single handlely outsold you in various countries, with no system seller for the first year and a half it was still able to keep up with you even though hit after hit has been released on the 360.
Maybe its time to do something drastic.. like lets say... a REAL price cut!!!

but you have to admit ps3 sales are higher than 360 sales though!

The problem is still the price. Do I think it's a great value? Yes, I recently bought one. But the games library for the 360 > PS3. It's arguable (not going to get into a fight) which console has a better future line-up. Some gamers won't play with Wifi due to lag. So that may or may not add value to someone. Somepeople are in the I'll buy a Blu-Ray player when they cost $50 like DVD players. So that may or may not add value to the cost for some. Xbox 360 has HDMI ports now. Personally I think making the 40 gig 80 gig did nothing for them. It would add zero incentive for me. I got a BC model, I wouldn't buy a non-BC version for more than $300 period. Especially with the economy, people are looking for a true price cut rather then adding more space to a console that is already loaded with features that most people don't value and won't use.
