Forums - Nintendo - Dead Rising Wii - A lackluster port

Frankly it looks like a jaggy, blurry mess. The whole fun of the first game was mowing down hundreds of enemies using strange weapons; this only seems to be able to handle tens of enemies. Look at the background of the above picture, the place is empty. I'm fine with Capcom riding the cashcow wave after the success of Resident Evil 4, but I hope they are still making Dead Rising 2 for an HD console(s) because I sure as hell won't be buying this.

I hope that these screens will say nothing about the final product. I can't imagine it will, because it would mean that Capcom released its ugliest Wii game yet, which would be strange considering Okami and RE4 were ports from the previous gen.

I think that these screens are from a very early development stage, cause I don't see shaders and lighting being implemented, an area in which the Wii is quite strong.

People seem happy about it.

You know you could have posted it there too, right? Because this isn't an all that big difference as a thread.

Also, what Wii games do not have jaggies at screenshots? SMG had them, and that turned out pretty awesome.

There aren't even shadows on all of them yet, so you can tell it is an early build.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

uhm... i see zombies in the background.

and the other screenshots have many more in them.

How about you wait until someone actually PLAYS it before the bitching continues??

F@ck Ubisoft and their commitment to Wii shovelware.

Maybe this is after the player got the Zombie Genocider Wiichievement?

I can see three zombies in a huge area in that screenshot. Compare it to the X360 version:

It's very disappointing.

What do you expect? They're doing the best they can with the hardware.

I see nothing wrong with it. And the graphics aren't too bad.

It could be from earlier in the game.

In the beginning of the game, there weren't very many zombies, but as the game progressed, the number of zombies increased.

I'll wait before judgment

If you could say the above about all screen shots released, you might ahve a case but since you cherry picked a single screen shot to hate on, you fail sir.

Oh, look, the X360 version must have only been capable of 2-3 enemies at once according to this randomly chosen screen shot.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Well honestly you have to wait and play the final retail version of the game to judge it.
Look at the Conduit for example, the first trailer was not too good TBH, but as time pass by you can see a huge improvement.
The game has some time until it is release so wait until that time to judge it, Am I right?
