But in all seriousness, I like both, but I'd have to give the DS the nod overall. It just has so much...more. Of everything.

Are the Polemon games good for an adult? I've suprisingly, never played one, except Pokemon snap, which I actually liked a lot.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I forgot, left over money allows you to buy more games.

RPGs
Contra 4
NinjaTown
Elite Beat Agents
Metroid Prime Hunters
Galaxy Wars

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Yes they are. Especially Red/Blue/Gold/Silver. Everything else after that isn't as good, but still fun.

Its pretty simple. The list of good games from any genre is near endless.

There is at least 5 reason for me that DS is a better deal than a PSP
DS has Nintendo's 1st party games
DS has Elite Beat Agents
DS has a biggest library [And is comming a lot of more 3rd party support than PSP]
DS has a unique way of play
DS has a great quality [Battery, Clamshell, Small & portable]

I'm glad someone else agrees, don't forget ouendan and taiko

How is ouendan for american audiences?

may be hard for people who can't read the japanese text, but the gameplay is where is at which is similar to EBA's...

The DS is what keeping me from buying a Next-gen home console.

Alot of the members here have put good reasons for why to buy a DS rather than a PSP, so I won't have to repeat it again.

Oh, and it is from Nintendo =P

^^^ This is what you get for blowing a rumor out of proportion

Chocobo brain damage!!! Here, drink this diet Coke..*runs*

Currently playing :

VC - Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen
Wii - New Super Mario Bros. Wii
DS - Glory of Heracels

Hey, here's one:

If the PSP is in a serious game drought, and it might never recover:

Then why would you buy one over a DS who has its most impressive lineup ever slated to hit over the next two years?

Just read that topic?

Do you want a system that you hope "grows like the PS3" or do you want a system that is already considered by most people, on and off this forum, to be the best handheld of all time?

I mean, just look upon the upcoming PSP game lineup and despair. Especially when the DS is getting epic game releases every week. The difference is clear. No one can present any better evidence than PSP owners complaining, rightly so, this very day about the complete and utter lack of games on the console.

Here's a really good theory, Mr. B. A lot of PSP owners, bought the console because they love handheld gaming, but also because they love the PS3, and so of course they will buy a Sony handheld. Not all, or even most DS owners, own or love the Wii. In fact, most hate it. They buy the DS because they are forced to buy it, in order to play new itterations of their favorite games, like Chrono Trigger, Ninja Gaiden, Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

DS has more games, has more games about to release, has more support, has more gaming inputs, has Nintendo games, etc.
