...Those "people" you know don't own any good games for it? For example, I've heard countless times their cousin/friend/whoever bought a Wii for their birthday or something and they stopped playing it after a week those people always own few not so good games? They usually own something like...Wii Sports or Wii Play and people are quick to say "See! [X person] stopped playing the Wii! The novelty will wear off!"
Why don't you actually introduce them to more games? Let's face it, people can't live off Wii Sports and Wii Play forever. That's why people say casuals are putting their Wiis down or something...they don't have any good games. Why don't you introduce them to other games like Zelda, Metroid, SMG, or something? Please don't say "but they're too hard!" because if they don't actually experience a hardcore game they will NEVER become a core gamer.
I'm pretty sure when everyone here played their first game it was either something "meh" and people got bored of those and played "core" games or actually they played something "core" for their first time. We play core games now because we actually experienced them and thought they were funner than some minigame compilation.
Most of the time people say that because they might be trolls. These "trolls" might be saying the truth but it's annoying that some people just hate the Wii (or any other system if you're a troll) so much that you'd rather not have people play the "opposing" system. I don't understand why people don't actually want to expand gamers. If you're not a troll then that's good - you can allow people to play better games and actually expand the audience.
Please don't say that these games are too hard for people...because I bet EVERYONE here has experience a hard game in their life and that's why they are core gamers now!
Anyone agree/disagree?

I know 5 people that own a Wii, of them I am one. Also of them 4 own either a 360 or PS3 along with it and all of them have been playing games on consoles since at least the SNES. Everyone of the 5 but me have Zelda, Brawl and SMG. (I only own Play, Sports and Fit, the console really is for my Fiance, so I am a little out of step for this analogy, though to be fair she hasnt touched the thing since a week after Fit came out)
All 5 of us have not touched our Wii's (that just sounds funny) in over 2 months. Some of them not since a couple weeks after Brawl.
People get tired of the same game over and over again, and when it comes to true AAA title quality on the Wii, you have to be willing to play the same 3 games for most of the year waiting for the next. Just my opinion of course, which Im sure will just be ripped to shreds by some of the people on these boards.
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"
"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
