Yes, but those titles do not count as proper core games. They are made purely for profit, and if Nintendo tried to create games for real gamers, they would obviously fail. They had to take this route of child/family oriented games to truly be successful. And they will continue to pump out these casual games as PS3 and 360 deliver the needs for the real core gamers.

basically they just need to make money, if wii concentrated on proper core games i belive it would fail at doing so. nintendos best bet is to keep pumping out casual games aimed at family/child gamers because thats where the money is in the wii. so its not suprising that wii fit outsold metroid.

Yeah because super mario galaxy, SSBB, Mario Kart, and LoZ:TP outselling all the core games/most on the ps3 is "Failing".

 

I like to point out that the only core games outselling Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii and SSMB are CoD4, Halo3, Assasin's Creed and GTAIV...  That's not counting Wii****games of course.

Why don't you take a look at the VG chartz numbers before you blow hot air around the room and make us all hot.

Another point I'd like to make is that Smash Brothers is one of the most casual Fighters of all time and that mario and Zelda games are always amazing. But they come out once every 5 years.

 I did check them which is how I know your original assertion is wrong. I suppose it might be that you don't understand elementary math and actually think Wii Fit has outsold Metroid Prime 3 by 400%. Either way this topic is dumb, and your thread title is dead wrong.

Hint: if game A sells 1 copy, and game B sells 1 copy then game B ousold game A by 0%.

And if you looked at what he was responding to, you would know they weren't discussing Prime 3, rather than the top selling metroid game, the original prime.

 This is just sad. If you are going to troll at least put a little effort behind it. All you have proven now is that the Metroid series has been decreasing in sales for a while and that is why Wii Fit can sell more than it. Think before you troll people.

Wow, 1.5 that's better than I thought, PS3 only has 8 games to outsell that... MS has 24, Nintendo  17.
