In a free scenario, Square would make it for both to maximize sales.

They didn't announce it because they want someone to put up some money for it (and also because it is getting put off slightly for FFXIII to get out the door. Not the back burner, but versus staff are working on XIII to speed it up. I really don't want to find the quotes again.)

Im sure FFv will come to the PS3 because the 360 hasn't proven to sell RPGS, and the 360 does crap poor in Japan.

Microsoft paid off Squares contract breach with Sony AND paid them a hefty amount on top of that. Square would have never done this without the promise of covering the costs of making the 360 port. Even if Square was looking at selling to a larger install base they dont sell many copies in the US. Unless square is going to commit to Nintendo they need Sony to sell their games. The 360 is just not going to cut it for the costs they are enduring.

Square said in their E3 presentation that Versus is still an exclusive to the PS3. Since thats the evidence we have, thats pretty much end of discussion.

A. It probably will go multiplat, but who knows. I think that the current 360 jrpgs will hit the PS3 and the current PS3 jrpgs will hit the 360, because of easy porting and profit potential. I also believe MGS4 will end up on the 360 sooner than later.

B. If FFVerses13 was better than FFXIII, then it would be called FFXIII, and FFXIII would be called FFVersesXIII. Square gave it a spinoff name, the audience thinks its a spinoff. The non-Kingdom Hearts version of Final Fantasy, aka, the main numbered version, might not look as good to you, but imho, I am psyched for it, while I do wanna play V13 also, I'm not huge into KH, and also how can you say FFXIII looks bad, lol, man that trailer is sick!

C. The more multiplats, the better, for gamers.

i dont see it going multi platform. i recall square saying something to the effect of them wanting an exclusive on each system.

i can't remember where i heard this, so i have no sources, but i remember something like capcom saying they were thinking about turning verses into a movie instead of a game. but i am probably wrong.

oh and btw i think verses looks alot better, its got a darker feel to it which i love
