Forums - Microsoft - Why does my 360 controller keep flashing at me?

I have been playing on the 360 for a little while now, and my controller keeps flashing two of the green quaters of the ring around the guide button. The controller still has 2 bars of battery left, and I have not unlocked any acheivements, so why is it doing this?

Do you have any other controller connected to the box?

I dont have any other controller attached, the flashing is on the controller not the box. It is intermittent though, I'll try xbox.com, because it is really getting annoying

this happens to me sometimes. i think it might be an intermitant fault.

try unplugging the back battery cover for the plug and play whilst the controller is on then plug it back again. it sometimes works for me.

Maybe you have to re-connect the wireless connection for your controller?

it signals your battery is low, 2 bars is considered low battery

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Okay, it should be running out of battery, as I am certain I have been playing for 40 hours. I assume something will come on screen when it does die?
