What's next? a "wet dream thread"?

i was in a dream where I was swimming once. Does that count?

Supposedly swimming dreams are about your relationship with your mother, because you relate being underwater with being safe in the womb.

Fucking Freudian bullshit if you ask me.

I think dreams are different for everybody and most can't be interpreted.  But that's what every book about dreams I've ever seen has said.

There's that whole "water = sex" thing too.

I almost had a Lucid Dream last night, I was dreaming that I was in a big warehouse building and I was up to the ceiling standing on some shelves then I jumped off and soon as I did that I realized I was dreaming so I tried to fly away wouldn't work, so I tried to change everything and it did work, the only problem was soon as everything changed I fergot I was dreaming (Damn!).

Lucid Dreams kick ass... usually I'm somewhat aware of whats going on while im dreaming and on occasion I can turn it into a full on Lucid Dream.

Also, on a slightly different subject, has anyone else experienced what they call "night terrors" or "frights"? It's like a nightmare where you're kinda lying in bed half awake and you are somewhat aware of your surroundings, but you can't move your body at all and you try to talk but nothing comes out, as if you were lying there paralyzed while your mind plays tricks with you and conjures up all kinds of crazy shit. It's definitely the trippiest thing I've ever experienced (and no i don't do or have ever tried any sort of drugs before haha).

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I remember having a dream when i was young where i REALLY had to take a piss, and did, but unfortunately the bathroom i was in was just a figment of my imagination haha.  Apparently though that's a somewhat common dream to have (maybe not the pissing yourself part though lol) and I've had another one of those "common dreams" where you start like grinding your teeth and they start falling out.  I think that's one of those Freudian things too.

Yeh I heard stories of people that had the same thing happen to them and sometimes they saw like a man or some kind of creature walking in there room, and it's just like you said the mind is playing tricks on you just because your in such a vulnerable state

mmmmhmmmm... when you were YOUNG.....

anyways, all Freud talks about is sex. Everything comes back to sex with it comes to him. What a perv.

Though I think he is somewhat correct when he came up with the id, ego, and super ego concepts.

I remember the dream I had two days ago, yet it wasn't lucid.

I had gotten the lowest grade I ever got on a report card. I got a C!

Last night was the same thing. I dreamt I was on VGChartz, except I wasn't at the copmuter, I was the computer. More technically, I was the VGChartz page and words were appearing by themselves without me typing them in.

But for some damn reason, I can't go lucid!

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita

Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte

Sugu yoko de waratteita

Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo

I will never leave you

Here's a little trick you should try, I've never tried it but someone said it works like a charm. Get one of those watches were it beeps every hour, and every hour that it beeps ask yourself if your dreaming or test yourself, eventually you'll get use to doing that and you'll do it in your dreams and when you do it in your dreams you'll find out that your dreaming.
