I'm more interested in not having to pay $600 for a video game console.  I hope, as increasingly appears to be likely, that the PS3 goes down in flames so all console makers learn not to go above $300 at launch next time.

Yet another thread of Sony fans trying to convince everyone Wii is bad... PS3 is good... and therin vice-versa on the return. There are seriously like 17 of these threads already. Pick one and run with it.

Huh?  You want something inherently unrealistic to be realistic?  How can a game like UT3 be realistic?  Gray skies and guns?

Or perhaps you feel that pushing a button to swing a sword instead of making a slashing motion is more realistic?  Or by "feel" do you mean graphics only? 

Ok, to end this controversy. Realistic is: FPS, everything in gray and brown colours and lots of lens flare.

It's a valid opinion that you have ssj but it's a bullshit one. There will always be a market for kids games like God of War, so you can assure all of your classmates of that. All that the Wii means is that gaming is no longer a boys only club and that gaming can advance in a different way than graphics. For 15 years now girls and adults have been left out of the loop when it came to gaming. Now the Wii is finally giving them an opening. Games like Metroid and Zelda will never stop being made, it just means that you have to share. You are willing to share right?

 Girls haven't been left out of the loop, most of my female friends love Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. These games sure beat playing games about cooking or doing housework or whatever it is you think girls like doing. 

To Topic creator:You know ther eis something called a 360. I heard it has pretty games and is selling well.
