Forums - Microsoft - What JRPGS do you recommend getting with the Xbox 360?

If you buy Blue Dragon, play it BEFORE Lost Odyssey, it'll seem like a better game that way.

I've never played Eternal Sonata, I'm waiting for the PS3 version.

I'd recommend Lost Odyssey and wait till September for Infinite Undiscovery, then get ToV in August like you said you would.

I'm not counting The Last Remnant since it's like 4-5 Months away,

Do not buy Enchanted arms. There aren't many games I don't like (look at my post history, some thing about What Wii games to buy).

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I wouldn't get Tales, but Mass Effect or Infinite Undiscovery.

"We'll toss the dice however they fall,
And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Well, thanks for all your help. I'll have all comments in mind. I'll try to get all the great JRPGs that the Xbox 360 has (or will have) to offer, beginning with Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia. Now this thread can die.

Buy all mentioned above. Check Amazon for Blue Dragon.... Haven't been there in awhile but the last time I saw it they had it for 19.99. (Leave Enchanted Arms alone though... It's not that good.)

Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Lost Odyssey is the only good JRPG on the console at the moment.

Lost Odyssey is the best JRPG on 360. I recommend that you play it last. The other JRPG's wont seem near as good after you play Lost Odyssey. I personally wasn't big on Eternal Sonata. Its short, linear, and has a poor story. The graphics and the battle system are excellent however. Blue Dragon starts off slow. It doesn't really pick up until the second disc, but the Shadow customization really makes the game fun. It is a bit on the easy side, so you'd probably want to download the free DLC that allows you to up the difficulty. Mass Effect is my favorite 360 game by far, but its a WRPG. So I'm not sure if its what you are looking for.
