Dune 2 - GTA III - FFVII - RE4 Wii - Warcraft 3

They are all considered better in some way that the prequels, and they are all considered to be good games by a majority of people who played them.

Super Mario World (yea, i consider it a sequel from SMB 3)

Megaman 2

I'm not sure these are the best, but they're my favourites.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the best Zelda title ever made.

yeah, I imagine they're pretty expensive on EBay. I'm sure when Star Ocean: Second Evolution hits North America on PSP, the price will go down the same way VP:Lenneth drove down the price for the original Valkyrie Profile for PS1. (which I also have, haha)
