Forums - Nintendo - 3rd party publishers feels about the conduit... very very sad :(

http://gonintendo.com/?p=49579

one excerpt on the paragraph its the second to the last:

I’ll end with a little bit of conversation that came up in our elevator ride down to the hotel lobby. We got into talking about publishers, and while High Voltage wouldn’t give me a name, they had a truly horrible story to tell. One publisher they approached outright told them that they didn’t understand why High Voltage was making the game. They thought the project was great, but had no idea who they were trying to sell to. After saying that, the publishers said that they wanted to turn the game into a $20 project, and crap it out for a holiday release. Yes, the publisher really said “crap it out”

oh noes :(

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

I bet Ubi said that...

I´m very curious to see how well (or bad) this game will sell.

It would be good if High Voltage actually told what publisher said that. Now THAT would have been a great reason to blast the company that's behind this shameful story.

Develpoers like these should be showed to the public and publicly laughed at.

Huh. Who would've thought that beggining anew in my real life would coincide with starting anew on vgchartz?

Any day now, the dollar will be worth less than 2 zloty......any day now.....and my life savings will be in total jepordy ;(.

@pichu_pichu i agree, i have a strong feeling it was ubisoft.

Nintendo Network ID: Sherlock99

I think that's one of those publishers with major losses.
Really if the industry dies in the coming years they only have themselves to blame.
