Guys, what Wii game that we've ever gotten screenshots for has not had jaggies? Even SMG screenshots were jaggalicious, and that game runs beautifully...

This. Most games look much better in motion.

Also, why the disappointment? It's like everyone was expecting X360-caliber visuals.

And these screenshots are no doubt from an early build of the game.  It's not coming out until 2009 anyway--that's plenty of time to refine it.  Also, I have to agree with what was said here, just because you see some jaggies in a screenshot doesn't mean they'll show up when you actually play the game--unless you have your Wii on an LCD TV.  From what I've heard, if you want your Wii to look good on a high-def screen, you want Plasma.

The only thing I'm disappointed by is the appearance of old school circular shadows under the zombies.  Although, it could be that the Wii may have trouble churning out real-time shadows on a game with this many moving characters.

The screens are ok. Lighting in the Wii version seems to be not implemented yet, since Wii can do pretty impressive lighting. See Galaxy and Brawl. I think thet'll definitely have better shadows as well, seeing that one zombie doesn't even have one, lol.

^ Agreed, also Fatal Frame IV and the conduit have the best lighting in any wii game imo. See the new trailers of the conduit, and just look at the screens of fatal frame(the trailer doesn't show the lighting off too much). I'm pretty sure the wii could run the game at ALMOST 360 quality. In terms of textures, and polygon count the games look the same, but everything else needs to be upped more.

That's true. I think this game looks good in screenshots anyway.

Considering that the GC could do detailed shadows for children's games, I imagine its an early build issue.

The Famitsu ad/article shows motion controls of some sort, so it should have it.

This should sell well when it arrives in other markets.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

This game isnt a survival horror. Its a dynasty warriors game with missions and with a sandbox feel to it with zombies...

Okay. I wasn't aware. Is it good? Honestly?

Honestly? Ermh... NO? Never played it but there are many complaints on this game like the texts are hard to read, limited save points/locations and no real free roaming and because of another complaint the time. Your progress on the game depends on the time which means you always rush to do the missions because of the time. There is a time limit to the game BTW so you need to finish the missions before your time runs out. Its a good idea and a good game though, if not for these flaws which CAPCOM will make up for the remake.

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out

The text is hard to read on almost every Xbox360 game if you're playing on a regular analog TV.  I ran into the same problem on titles like Halo 3 and Gears of War when playing them.

First you say it's a bad game, then you say it's a good game with issues, and sandwiched between those thoughts, the admittal that you haven't even played it at all.  Goddamn.

Its a good idea and good game though, which means it can be turn out to be a good game if not for the flaws. YEAH, never played it because I dont own a 360 but even I have  a 360 I 'll stay away from this game because this game isnt turn out to be promised it to be, yeah its a good game if you can free roam and do anything you like like GTA but because of the time limit pressure I'll make pass with this game.

The Wii version have promised though...
