Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo = Three Days Grace?

The other day I was walking with my MP3 player, and the song Overrated by Three Days Grace comes on, and all I could keep thinking was references to Nintendo and their recent press event,

Quotes like.

They created generation that we know

They give us answers to questions they dont even know

you made it you played it your shit is overrated

we cant relate to what you think you know

and you create the problems that will never go away

and much more

BTW I was at this show!!!! which is why I chose this video.

Well for one, Three Days Grace is not that great in the first place, so unless you are saying Nintendo is mediocre I think your point is lost on everyone.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Well even with the Wii's crazy success, do I think it is overrated?

Absolutely.

Is it horrible?

Absolutely not.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Hey, Three Days Grace is awesome :) I saw them back in February. Fantastic.

On Topic: Anything/anyone with high expectations surrounding it will have an inevitable element of being overrated. The Yankees and Lakers in American sports are just two examples of this. With high payrolls and loads of talent, anything less than a championship every year will lead to a "disappointing" season regardless of what happens.

The Wii so far is tracking higher sales than any other console in video game history, but still some are disappointed and using the overused "overrated" phrase to it. Face it, success draws more criticism than anything else. The bigger you become, the bigger the target on you becomes. Your goals get set higher and higher, and eventually you won't be able to meet 100% of those goals 100% of the time.

My point is "don't worry about it". It happens.
