VGC doesn't count MGS4 bundles sales:



Could be why we don't see an increase in sales.

Way to go DS.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

well it outsold the xbox 360 so thats what matters, i think if ps3 keeps outselling 360 in ameirca by at least 10k, then surpassing the xbox worldwide will happen much earlier. q2 09?

The bundle is still sold out on gamestop and amazon so maybe sony just didn't ship enough. Also, the demand will probably increase since a non-BC 80gb has been announced for NA

Source is talking about not counting the SW sales though, not the hardware sales. If the bundles were a factor we would still see them in the HW sales.

Sounds like damage control to me.  Why was this never mentioned before.  We counted Motorstorm bundles did we not?

They count it for the hardware but not for the software.

 He's just saying that they didn't count the bundles as sales of the MGS4 game (I think).  Doesn't say anything about not counting the systems sold.

But the PS3 did have a modest increase Week-over-Week, so it's not that bad.

I think that thats only for Software which could mean that they do track the Hardware but not the SW for that bundle.
