Each year I think it is becoming less and less likely that nintendo would bring back pilotwings. It was one of their best game franchises and they have let it go. I'm starting to think after this years E3 that we may never see it again

@WOW - It was one of the first games to use mode7 graphics. It was basically a forerunner for all 3D games today.

Hmmm I wish they would make a new Vortex for the Wii.  That was cool.

wow, all you guys never played it?
It was a classic game with great elements and really just an allround difficult super fun game. I guess you wouldn't be much interested if you played it now, but having played both pilotwings and pilotwings 64 as a kid, the nostalgia and colorful graphics would compel me to buy a wii for it.
