Wow this thread should be locked. Firstly it went off topic, and secondly it is just a tool for Rock_on to troll nintendo or the wii.

Nah. This is fun. :)

Most would be happy with the motion controller. But if you are used to the controller some people like me hate change. i am used to a controller and stand up and using the motion control would be tiring after a hard day's work.

Umm I play Twilight Princess sitting down.

As for your OP, it is definitely worth it. The Wii is actually about 1 and a half times more powerful than the original XBox, and possibly more powerful than that, if it is getting XB360 ports like Dead Rising.

The true question is, other than HD differences, was the PS3 worth it for you? Considering it costs over double the PS2 price, has anything improved for you, other than making use of a higher resolution? Did you pay for something more than a graphics bump?

@Rock_on_2008 Are you serious?

Sony wouldn't take a bullet for you Rock. Trust me on that. What's with the worship? Also, until you see Wiis on the shelf all of the time, you're not going to see a price drop. N64 dropped it's price because they were getting beaten handily by your heroes.

I have a PS3 and a XBox 360. I just posted a question about the Wii. I am sure you can get the Wii modded to play DVD's and store extra memory.

So what's your real reason for not buying the Wii then? Honesty might work this time.

I bought a N64 In March 2007 on launch in PAL region Australia.

WTF?
I assume you mean ps3. In which case you have no right to complain about Nintendo dropping prices when you payed $1000 for a ps3 at launch only to have it drop to $650 a few months later.
But hey, I bet it was totally worth it to get to play all those amazing launch games and not horrible 360 ports...

No I do not hold that against Sony I worship Sony. I would take a bullet for Sony. But Microsoft well they have not cut their prices by much in the past three years, only two small price cuts.

this is the funniest shit i've read today, thanks man

$650 was the price of the 40GB no B/C gimped model. $1000 for the 60 GB PS3 was well worth the money.
