I prefer 2D to 3D when it comes to platform and adventure games so 3D stuff is rarely top of my list. Mario Kart and Brawl are the only ones I'm really pleased about as racing and fighting are my favourite genres.

If you prefet 2D to 3D then why is most of your list made up of 3D games?  Scratch that my mistake.
They released Donkey Kong racing game for the Wii so youre Diddy Kong racing game isnt gonna happen and neither is F-Zero because Miyamoto doesnt want it to.

Also its 2008 no one gonna focus on 2D as much anymore.

They released all the ones that are still alive. People need to give up an Punch out and Earthbound. Nintendo has explictly said they are not making any more Earthbound games. At least anyone who thinks theyre making one this gen are in for a disappointment.

 

Actually they have yet to release F-Zero, Wave Race Starfox, Donkey Kong(Announced), Kirby(ANnounced Kinda), Pikmin 3(Announced), and a Wii specific Zelda. Not to mention many franchises that have made their appearance on the DS may make their it on the WII also. OH and there are tons of smaller ones too. Kid Icarus is very likely. I do agree with the OP though.

Punch Out is rumored like Kid Icarus though. Only difference is that Miyamoto kinda confrimed it KI. Believe me, I read your whole post. I listed these series because you said:

"In the first two years of the Wiis life you got all of them. You got your Mario,Zelda,Metroid, and Brawl etc."

There was also a rumor about an F-Zero game. But I don't know if one is being made or not.

When the hell did Miyamoto say that he did not want another F-Zero game to be made? and most importantly, why would he say such a thing?

Nintendo did debut their biggest titles. WSResort, Wii Music, and AC are going to sell more than any other game that comes out this holiday season.

We've all heard more about Kid Icarus then Punch Out though. And Ive only recently hear about he Punch Out for wii.

I say that because those are the games people want more,. Seriously when the Wii was new the majority of us would rather want a new Zelda or Metriod game then punch out or F-Zero. And you know it.

Can't find it. I do remember reading somewhere though that ti was announced, but nobody knows if it is still in development.

I hate games with no real goal set within them. Animal Crossing is the perfect example of such games. By no means is it a core title. Why ? It doesn't offer anything the likes of a gaol you must reach. Bummer.

I dont think anyone really expected KH3 at least I didnt. Capcom gave us Dead Rising trash (IMO)
Factor 5 was Kid Icarus and we can all say we were disappointed at that.

I understand what you mean but let the devolpers/publishers hype up their own titles I mean Nintendo still has to worry about expanding their market even more.

The last bolded part dude like I said be patient. Pick up 3rd party games for and you got Pikmin 3 which I think was pretty good announcement.
