Forums - Sony Discussion - hehe i just traded my old xbox for a Ps looks cool

Oh, it's "Crisis Core"...I forgot. What is the concept of that game anyway?

And I'd have to agree with starcraftmaniac here...Blue3 you really need to stop trolling all the threads, accusing others of trolling. Calling people fanboys just makes your posts annoying...nobody's going to take you seriously. If you don't like what people say, at least argue sensibly with them...prove them wrong if you must.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Power Stones was great for Dreamcast, maybe give that one a shot.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

The basic concept of the game is to have a game with Sephiroth, Cloud and Zack in it, then proceed to sell millions on that alone. =P

Seriously though, looks like it might be good. Especially for people who're still huge fans of FF7.

All in all, the PSP is a good handheld, but its video game library cannot even touch the DS's.

I agree. The PSP is a good handheld, but its video game library sucks when compared to the DS's.

lol wii fanboys are already attacking PSP games.

right now you should get

Killzone
MGS
Wipeout
Tekken
GTA
Daxter
Socom
Ace Combat

future Final Fantasy CC and God of War are a must.

Daxter is too descent to be be great. It's not bad, but it's far too easy, and too typical of the average platformer. You're a bug exterminator, killing bugs; How heroic... Let's face it, Daxter is no Mario.

Grand Theft Auto is too popular for its own good. It's pointless. All you do is fuck around, there's nothing to do, no skills to achieve, no challanges to accomplish, and it gets old, really fast. You almost feel brain dead after playing it. I hate them all.

Killzone is a failed attempt at creating Sony's Halo.

I personally hate Socom, Ace, and Tekken.

I think Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, God of War, and Wipeout Pure, are the only good games, from the list.

Get the following games in no particular order:

1. Lumines I and/or II (Great Puzzle Game, think Tetris but a million times prettier and with great music)

2. Every Extend Extra (Really cool and different shoot 'em up with great multiplayer)

3. Gunpey (Great puzzle game as well)

4. Exit (Really good side scrolling platformer/puzzle solver)

5. Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

6. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection

7. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (Side Scrolling old school RPG from PS1 remade that has a very different combat system than most)

8. Daxter (Great platformer)

9. Gitaroo Man Lives (Cool rythm game with a very weird charm)

10. Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters (Action/Platformer)

11. Locoroco (Side scrolling adventure game for the family)

12. Monster Hunter: Freedom (Great portable Action RPG)

13. Metal Gear Acid 1 and/or 2 (Turn based strategy in the MGS universe)

14. Princess Crown (Import) (Really cool side scrolling action RPG)

15. DJ Max portable 1 and 2 (Import) (Great DJ/rythm/music game from korea)

16. Crush (very good puzzle platformer that is very challenging as well)

17. Puzzle Quest (Puzzle RPG)

Only one of those is a PS2 port.

Also so many PSP games to look forward to in the future that look stunning: God Of War, FF: Crisis Core, FF: Dissidia, Silent Hill Origins, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Jeann D'Arc, FF Tactics, Parappa the Rapper, FF I and II, Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles...

had I the money, I'd buy a PSP just for Pirates. I played the Xbox version and it's just an incredibly fun game. So I suggest giving that a try.

As for Donwii and llewdebkram. Come on guys. That's neither constructive or funny.

Hey... It was a bit funny, and managed to name 5 games that I think seem good and would be worth getting. llewdebkram did not contribute anything.

I would get a PSP if I found there were some more interesting games, but I may end up getting one because of FF Dissida and Crisis Core, as well as God of War.
