yeah seems like Sony/MS/Nintendo can't win with either announcing games to far in advance or holding back with not enough games. Overall I think people just want to see more games to further justify their gaming expensive purchases. People got way too upset about FFXIII announcement. Then again I guess if they could have saved $400 by not buying a PS3 for one game b/c they already own a 360 than that's a good reason to be upset.

We can only hope that Nintendo leaves the "core" games out for the rest of this year beacuse they want Third party games a chance of selling.

No it does not look fine, its the exact same looking game we have been playing forever.  If they can give us a good looking SMG then whay has this series received none of the visual upgrades the wii is known for.  And you must get over yourself and this trolling crap, get real.  I have played the AC series for hundreds of hours and i'm a big fan of a bunch of the Nintendo games.

The graphics may not look beautiful, but it doesn't have to. I like the style of the game and technically it looks adequate. Animal Crossing would not be a better game if the game had more advanced graphics.

That said, I really don't like Animal Crossing.

There are noticeable improvements from the N64 to the Gamecube, and then from the Gamecube version to the Wii ...

If you take a look at this picture you will notice how there are a lot of subtile texturing details in the floor pattern (and pretty much everywhere) ... These types of details were not on the Gamecube version and were certainly not possible on the N64.

I suspect that if you took this game and took advantage of the latest and greatest graphics cards it wouldn't look that much different from how it currently looks mainly because the styling of the graphics isn't well suited for impressing people.

I guess we can agree to dis-agree about this game, but in my eyes all they have done is increase the Resolution allowing them to have a cleaner looking game, there appears to be no more detail at all in the game and i just went and looked at some images of the GC one.  If the games were side by side and you showed this to a normal person they would not see any difference.

Now that I've let it soak in.
Nintendo's e3 wasn't horrible, its was alright... just bad presentation.
I mean, Animal Crossing is win.
Voice chat is awesome.
1:1 motion, heck yeah.

But Wii Music didn't seem to work right, and I was looking forward to a Hard Drive.
Still, yeah...



 

I own all of lastgen systems as of October 2008. (Finally got a Dreamcast)

I own every currentgen system except PS3.
