Microsoft's conference was a huge at the end with FFXIII

Sony = 4/10, nothing new or unheard of, except a retarded action online game
go back to diablo and WoW, no lifes.
Saved a few points with Patapon and LR 2 for PSP...
And GoW3, it's just too early, Kratos please go on vacation...


Nintendo = 3/10 for gamer, 6/10 for casual. Yeah, Wi Motion and Wii Speak are great features... but WHERE are the games to go with it ?
WHY not announce a casual AND a CORE game for each ? aka Punch Out and Kid Icarus...

MS wins because of the hurt they put on Sony. Sony came in second by showing they can actually make their own games. I don't think Nintendo showed up. And they need to fire that lady, she's very annoying.

Hmm Sony and MS are pretty much even imo, MS only had one announcement but it was HUGE, while sony actually showed some new games. Too bad they almost didn't pay any attention to third parties.

Sonys conference was better than Nintendo's though but as someone has previously posted Nintendo doesnt need to win anything here, they are winning the war.

As far as the 360 vs PS3 battle though M$ conference > Sony simply because a massive Sony exclusive is now multiplatform.

How does MS "win E3"? The only exclusive game they announced was a Singstore rip-off. Congrats on getting multi-plat FF everywhere but Japan. They need to do more and they better do it quickly.

and what did you think when METAL GEAR solid, FINAL FANTASY 7 and a host of other titles appeared on the PS1, that they appeared out of thin air? Was the 7 in final fantasy 7 just there to look cool? it must be right? because it's a sony franchise?

Anyway, for me, MS won and they won big.

FFXIII and end of gears showing (riding the brumak) that's what E3 should be, heavy hitting revelations/announcements. We knew about god of war 3, we are glad to see ratchet is still alive and kicking, but we didn't give a crap about MAG and Resistance had to show something and it did which was good. How did Sony win again?

I'm not sure between 2nd and 3rd because on one hand, 1:1 motion control add-on will change alot of games, but nothing important was shown on the software front for Nintendo and on the other, Sony didn't do anything big, people were expecting "MS hit us with FFXIII we'll throw something bigger at them" and there really wasn't anything huge from the unexpected.
