I didn't expect Zelda, but i thought for sure there would be something on Disaster and Fatal Frame. I am now kinda worried that Fatal Frame won't see a western release considering it comes out in a week and a half in Japan and the plan for Nintendo was to unveil the rest of 2008

Why were Project Hammer and DDoC halted all of a sudden? Nintendo is shifting resources to the casual market. Give me proof those games are coming and I wont bother anyone anymore. I know they will come some day, but I cant understand Nintendo's policy at the moment.

All Nintendo had to do was show one title aimed at core gamers, just one. A trailer for (the currently hypothetical) Kid Icarus or something of Fire Emblem DS, but no, they gave nothing. Just a (the mario and zelda teams are working on something) line from iwata, that mario game is likely to be another shitty spin-off. Nothing about the VC, nothing about storage. If Nintendo actually do bother with core gamers they would've shown something or made more than a casual sentence with no grounding. Hell, just a 'Kid Icarus is coming later this year' sentence would've been fine. The fact they cant even manage a simple sentence shows they no longer care about the core gamer or their loyal fans.

Do people here buy that many games? If I did, I'd have my pockets empty! I got over Ninty's E3... Sure I'm still disappointed but there's still 3rd parties and Ninty will probably show new stuff later this year.

Everyone here that says Nintendo did anything but ignore the issues its core audience has with the system (like lack of core games this second half of the year, or a storage solution, or a revamped online) and instead just pandered to their casual market is delusional. They didnt even announce production increases.

This could go down as the second worst E3 for a company outside of Sony's first with the PS3 announcment. Talk about in my opinion at least, feeling you are too good and too powerful to care anymore.

Of course, I see most Nintendo users like Apple users, they take what is crapped on them and just love the company more for it. Anyone seen the huge backlash for them bricking nearly every old iPhone with the new firmware? Yeah, me either.
