Hardcore games from Ninty will no longer "steal the limelight" at places like E3.

The announcement of 'Kid Icarus' may excite hardcore fans, but it won't make a dent in the wider media. Announce WiiSports II & WiiMusic release... and you might make headlines in all the IT articles around the world.

The hardcore announcements will come later, at another date/time.

In the meantime, apart from the FFXIII announcement - I think Ninty had the most "significant" E3. New 'real' hardware - mic & Motion+ are both very important, and looking forward to both of them releasing.

There is plenty of stuff coming out.

I'm looking forward to De Blob, Mega Man 9, Wario, Tales, and Sonic Unleashed.

Wii Music/Animal Crossing/Castlevania/Samba De Amigo/Face Breaker/Don King Boxing have potential too.

I really do not understand what all the Nintendo fanboys (well other then me) are so pissed about?? Wasn't last year exactly the same?? Still we got SMG, SSBB, Metroid, MK and a few other not so big Nintendo core titles. You are all clearly overreacting, you all just were set upped to be disappointed. Of course I also was a little bit, but that was because I hoped they had some Core stuff to show not because I thought they would.

Although i was a tad, just a tad dissapointed about that they didnt announce any other of their franchises but what caught me off guard was the announcement of that grand theft auto title comming to DS (i was like WTF O_o?).

Uh don't bother me actually, I know that Nintendo treat new E3 ( media and business summit ) to please mainstream media and investor.
I hope there will be good Nintendo games that appeals to me in the future ( like ever was until now ).

I'm really happy.

I have a bad tendency of wanting new games. Now that there aren't any, I can enjoy Brawl/MKWii, replay Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and Twilight Princess, finish TWEWY 100%, and finish AW. Maybe I'll even buy Okami or FFT:A2.

I don't want many high quality games, I want a bit less top quality titles. And that, is what Nintendo gives me.

There's so damn much stuff out, I'm happy with a break.

I'm probably going to buy Wii Sports 2 though (if it's cheap) and maybe AC:CL.

I am kinda glad that not many big games are stated for end of 2008. As my list of games to buy is big enough as it is despite most of these been out for 6 months or so now :o

I think you will be out of luck, I still believe the games will come, not showing at E3 doesn't mean they aren't going to come.
